Malcolm X: a Civil Rights Activist and Natural Born Leader

"I am not educated, nor am I an expert in any particular field... but I am sincere and my sincerity is my credential." Malcolm X was indeed a sincere man, that within his work, studies, and organization. Malcolm had a rough life, but pushed on even past racism towards him and the religous hate put unto him as well. Malcolm X was one of the most well known and most inspirational within the Civil Rights Movement.
Malcolm was born 25 May, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska with the original full name as Malcolm Little. His mother, Louise Norton Little, was occupied most of her time with watching her children, of which Malcolm was born her 4th child (she eventually had eight children); His father, Earl Little, was an outspoken Baptist minister and avid supporter of Black Nationalist leader Marcus Garvey. His father died in a racial prompted house fire; which drove his mother crazy, and so she was hauled off to a mental institution. Malcolm and his siblings were then split up in foster homes and orphanages.
Malcolm was a very well behaved and focused student during his stay in school, even graduated at the top of his classs. His dreams of becoming a lawyer were shattered by one of his racist teachers, who told him his dream was unrealistic of a black person to have, and that he should plan on something that didnt require education. Soon after, he lost interest in school, dropped out, and moved to Massachusetts. There he worked various small odd jobs, and soon decided to travel to Harlem, New York. There he commited multiple petty thefts, and by 1942 Malcolm was using various narcotics, prostitution and gambling rings.
Malcolms friend "Shorty" Jarvis left with Malcolm to Boston, where both were arrested and sentenced ten years in prison, and after 7 years, Malcolm was let out on parole. It was in prison that Malcolm refocused on his education. During his studies, one of his brothers came to visit him, and told him of his conversion to the muslim faith, and his association with the organization called The Nation Of Islam(NOI).
Soon, Malcolm was a free man, and then traveled to Detroit, where he started working with  Elija Muhammmad. They together began trying to expand to african americans across the nation. It was during this time that Malcolm became the ministers for churches number 7(located in Harlem) and number 11(in Boston). As the faith spread, so too did belief that blacks should not be treated improperly. Malcolm changed his last name "little" to "x" because he believed little was a slave name. The amount of people in NOI greatly increased under malcolm, and grew ever bigger. soon, Malcolm found that muhammad didnt practice what he preached, and seperated from him. Malcolm soon went on a pilgrimage to Mecca, where he became one with Islam, increasing his faith, and started speaking out more and more.
After resigning from NOI, Malcolm had become an assassination target, and never traveled without bodyguards. Weeks after he had escaped a few assassination attempts, Malcolm was speaking on stage, and, unfortunately, the assassins rushed him onstage and killed him. Malcolm is buried at the Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York, leaving his twin daughters behind.
Malcolm acomplished an integration of islam into the blacks, and changed the views of many, and helped lead to the fair treatment of blacks by making it not hard to speak out against people who were racist and rude, ultimatly, Malcolm made the US a better place.

Adam Smith was a philospher whom later became an economist. He believed that gold and silver were not real wealth. He said real wealth was the essentials of life: Food, water, shelter, etc. He believed that if people wanted a better lif style standard, goods and services should be pleniful and cheap. He soon developed the Free Market System, which is based of of the basic known law, "supply and demand", and allows people to "vote" with their money for what they agree and like or with that with which they disagree and dislike. He believed that marketing was democratic, and belived that the best and most sucessful operation in free market was competition. He thought that compitition would create greater quantity, quality, and lower prices on goods and services. He also believed that the only thing that could truly effect and threaten free market was government interference, such as: fixing prices and wages, controlling production, controlling distribution, and subsidizing production

Economics is the study of how people use their scarce resources to meet their competing desires. A resource is called scarce if they do not have what they would if their product was free. so the desicion is left to them to figure out how to use their scarce resources to convince consumers to buy the product.
Capitalism is an economic model that calls for individual households and small buisnesses to control the economy. Capitalism is only one of twoeconomic models, the other being central planning, which calls for government control of the economy.

Green jobs have different pros and cons. cons being federal and state efforts to stimulate creation of green jobs have largely failed, which government records show. Pros being that the green jobs are in fact helping the economy. The debate is whether green jobs are helping the economy or destroying it.

the question, should I support green jobs or not?
I would support green jobs, for, even if they do fail, they will have some postive impact on the economy and the enviroment. It would help supply and demand because more could be created in a better way, and greatly improve what scarce resources we have!

Political Cartoon
1.Because he thinks that the debate might be average or just plain BORING .
2.That they are pretty boring.
3. Becase most of them know they are completely boring.
4.Not very imortant if no one watches.
5.Because they look good on their track record later.

debate NO. 3

The 3rd debate on the presidential election is clearly the most important one because it is the final debate before the election. The winner of this 3rd debate was clearly obama simply for his knowlege and experience in foriegn policy as a presdent, while govenor Romney has next to know experience in the matter and could not really say what he was going to do would work due to his lack of prior knowlege and experience. The talk about foreign policy was almost like a small bickering between the two presidents, where at the beginning of each segment, both would state their main ideas followed by them assulting the opposers ideas in a calm manner. Through the extent of the debate, both did stick to the issues at hand, but persistently argued over one anothers ideas, making it difficult to understand their ideas fully because, instead of explaining the ideas they had, they argued and explained all of the cons of the others plans. The candidates both used a fair amount of hand motions and body language throughout the debate, which helped express their ideas, but, again they used the majority of their body movements while bickering over the issue. If the average undecided voter only watched this single debate and expressed tforeign policy, it would probably determine their vote for the 2012 election. Judging by Obamas knowlege of foreign policy, this debate could swing voters toward him, causing him to have just enough that he needes to win.

summary:

The Debate began with both presidents begining to talk of their ideas for voters. The 3 main debates are an important impact on all watching voters, but probably impact undecided voters the most. Both only state basic ideas on foreign policy, but soon, the debate took a turn for the worse with almost constant arguements and counters, causing the debate to become derailed from the actual problems that needed attention. Obama had an advantage in this debate because of his experience in the government of dealing with foreign policy, and therfore had a minimal amount of weaknesses, while Romney has almost no experience in the matter, making it hard for him to argue his points to undecided voters. Due to this, it is clear Obama won this debate because of his experince in the matter. Based solely on this debate, it would be safe to assume that ibama would win the election.
